b. William Chiaiese, 24 Oct 1934, Boston, Massachusetts, USA, d. 9 August 1974, Jackson, Minnesota, USA. Within the middle-50s Chase examined trumpet at Berklee University Of Music under Natural herb Pomeroy. Towards the finish of the 10 years he used Maynard Ferguson, Stan Kenton and Woody Herman. Through the entire 60s he regularly returned towards the Herman music group but turned significantly to jazz rock and roll, later on forming his personal music group Run after in 1971 and experiencing a high 30 pop strike with ‘Obtain It On’. 3 years later on he toured having a re-formed edition of the music group. It had been while on tour that, on 9 August 1974, he along with other members from the music group – John Emma (acoustic guitar), Walter Clark (drums) and Wally York (keyboards) – had been killed within an aeroplane crash.
