Terfry and Minh Lê originally started working jointly in 2007, if they collaborated on the track for the Buck 65 tour mixtape hosted by Skratch Bastid, a DJ from Halifax. The one-track cooperation grew right into a full-length record work, More Center Than Brains (2009).
