Biirdie will be the trio of Jared Flamm, Kala Savage, and Richard Gowen. Flamm may be the primary songwriter (though he occasionally collaborates with Savage) on the debut album, Morning hours Kills the Dark, which combines whimsy and bittersweet subdued dejection that echoes the task of early-’70s United kingdom vocalist/songwriters who mined an identical mindset.
