Russell Osiecki (vocals/ acoustic guitar) and his sibling Derek (bass) have already been playing in rings collectively since their middle college days of gigging throughout their indigenous Las Vegas. By using their friend Eddie Cleland (drums), the Generics resulted for several years before Russell shifted to LA to create Great Rivers from the Globe with guitarist Steve Refling. Once that music group ended, the rest of the Generics also relocated to LA to create Big Umbrella. Having a line-up that’s simply the Generics with Steve Refling on second acoustic guitar, their audio matured to a power-pop crossbreed of alternative and ’60s rock and roll. While finding out about to famous brands the Beatles, the Byrds, Packed House, as well as the Substitutes, Racer Information released Big Umbrella’s debut recording, Fruits, in 1993. Their second recording, Guru, adopted in 1995 while Ever Ever Property arrived a year later on. Laboratory Rat (2001) designated the band’s 1st release of the brand new millennium.
