Big Scary

Australian duo Big Frightening make atmospheric, seductive pop music that combines acoustic, electrical, and digital sounds. Produced in Melbourne in 2006, Big Scary feature Tom Iansek and Joanna Syme, who talk about lead vocal responsibilities. The band documented many EPs before launching their debut full-length record, Holiday, in 2011. In 2013, Big Scary came back using their sophomore work, Not Artwork, which gained the Australian Music Award one year afterwards. Third album Pet became their initial number one strike over the Australian charts.
