Big French

Big French is definitely a fresh York City-based lo-fi experimental rock group fronted from the unusually high-voiced Quentin Moore. The group’s brief, knotty tracks recall post-punk, prog, no influx affects, but don’t match any easy classes. Furthermore to Moore, who sings, takes on guitar, and creates the group’s tracks, Big French contains synthesizer participant Zach Phillips (Blanche Blanche Blanche), drummer Jo Miller-Gamble, bassist Adam Steck, and guitarist Colin White colored. The group produced its debut using the 2011 7″ ON YOUR OWN Fam-il-y, that was among the 1st produces by Brooklyn-based Wharf Kitty Information. The full-length Downtown Runnin made an appearance within the label in 2013, as well as the cassette EP WOULDN’T NORMALLY Try/Atlanta premiered by Phillips’ OSR Tapes immediately after.
