Comprising a large number of musicians from various countries all over the world, Big Blue Ball is definitely a collaborative task that started to take form in the first ’90s before finally released like a full-length album in 2008. Made by Peter Gabriel along with Karl Wallinger of Globe Party and Waterboys popularity and Stephen Hague of New Purchase and Pet Store Boys fame, the best Blue Ball classes originally started in 1991 at Gabriel’s REAL LIFE Studios in Britain. As time passes the periods included the involvement of vocalists Sinéadvertisement O’Connor (of Ireland), Tim Finn (New Zealand), Natacha Atlas (Belgium), Papa Wemba (Congo), Joseph Arthur (USA), Iarla Ó Lionáird (Ireland), Hukwe Zawose (Tanzania), Márta Sebestyén (Hungary), among others. Various other noteworthy individuals in the best Blue Ball periods consist of American guitarist Vernon Reid, American manufacturer/multi-instrumentalist Tchad Blake, Cameroonian vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Francis Bebey, Uk guitarist Justin Adams, Uk bassist Jah Wobble, American guitarist Wendy Melvoin, Japan percussionist Joji Hirota, Spanish guitarist Juan Cañizares, France drummer Manu Katché, and many more.
