Big Bill Dotson

An obscure body, Big Costs Dotson is well known limited to one record, made about 1952, perhaps in Houston, Texas, and issued in the Dark & White label. Performing accompanied just by his electric guitar, his style upon this very limited proof was similar to Lightnin’ Hopkins, and even, his two paths have appeared on the Hopkins album, acknowledged to that musician. His vocals had been relatively lighter and his electric guitar work even more rudimentary than those from the even more famous musician, but he should get his own little put in place blues history.
