Produced in 1995 by friends Mike Thurman and Bernie Camp, stoner rockers Big Ass Bus Driver is a regular fixture in the Michigan hard rock and roll scene after that. Although the music group (also offering Johnny Walker on bass and a revolving door of drummers) used Orange Goblin and Faster Pussycat amongst others, it had taken them four years to construct their first record, Engine Globe. Space Urn implemented in 2001, resulting in the employing of guitarist Paul Houston.
