Home / Biography / Biastfear

After getting started as a fairly straightforward past due-’90s harsh metal band similar to Fear Manufacturing plant or Crowbar, Cleveland, OH’s curiously named Biastfear embarked upon an even more unusual and original path making use of their attempts to blend rock with hip-hop. Featuring vocalist T.J. Bruce, guitarist Ron Brinker, bassist Rob Schultz, and drummer David Breda, 1998’s The Ties That Bind subscribed towards the previous path, while its 12 months 2000 follow-up, All Angels Scream, launched both their fresh sonic ambitions and vocalist Crystal Moore. Nowhere near as bizarre as you might anticipate, this mix of unrelated styles is usually smoothed out by Moore’s equivalent simplicity with clean melodic performing and rapping.
