Biography

Bézu is really a French vocalist and actor most widely known for “À la Queuleuleu,” a high Five hit in 1988 from the tv program La Classe. Delivered André Bézu on July 24, 1943, in Tourcoing, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France, he originally produced a name for himself within the French movie theater from the 1970s. He produced his documenting debut the next decade, you start with a couple middle-’80s novelty singles compiled by Gérard Tempesti and Man Lux which were released for the label TNR beneath the billing Bézu et la Grand St. Germain (“Ali Baba,” “Moi Vouloir du Couscous,” “Le Sex Mark”). Bézu’s breakout achievement came a couple of years afterwards with “À la Queuleuleu,” a high Five hit for the French singles graph in early 1988. Released on Carrère in 1987 and from the French tv program La Classe, “À la Queuleuleu” sparked a momentary surge appealing in Bézu, so the previously released Bézu et la Grand St. Germain one “Ali Baba” was reissued in 1988. “Le Tortillard,” the follow-up one to “À la Queuleuleu,” premiered in 1989 and was likewise styled yet dropped flat, failing woefully to rival the achievement of its forerunner. Subsequent releases like the parodic hip-hop novelty “Le Rap aux Moules” in 1991 also demonstrated unpopular. In old age best-of collections such as for example À la Queuleuleu (2001) surfaced every once in awhile, but for probably the most component, Bézu was appreciated as something of the one-hit question. He passed away on Feb 7, 2007, in Paris, France.
