Although located in Weymouth, MA, Beyond the 6th Seal played melodic death metallic motivated by Swedish titans like In Flames and Dark Tranquillity. Developing in 1998, the group adopted several demonstration tapes with 2001’s cheerfully called A Homicide Divine EP, of which period their lineup contains vocalist Lawrence Kwong, guitarists Justin Chappell and Adam Wentworth, bassist Rob Devlin, and drummer Brendan Roche. In 2002, the full-length Globe and Sphere launched fresh screamer Mike McKenzie (aka Gunface, from the Crimson Chord) and bassist Matt Woods but became their last, because they proceeded to go their separate methods in past due 2003. A couple of years later on, Beyond the 6th Seal was reborn like a trio composed of guitarist/vocalist McKenzie, drummer Roche, and bassist Gregory Weeks; nevertheless, with no programs to tour, it had been now even more of a studio room side task for McKenzie and his Crimson Chord bandmate Weeks than a genuine music group. The trio announced their come back in early May 2007 using the record The Resurrection of Everything Challenging, released through Steel Blade Records.
