b. c.1920, USA. A gifted pianist, Roudebush enticed nationwide interest in the middle-30s throughout a spell with the favorite Ina Ray Hutton music group. Jazz article writer and broadcaster Sally Placksin reviews that Roudebush’s choruses had been created up in DownBeat (no suggest achievement for a female in those times), and both trumpeter Jane Sager and Eddie Durham, the music group’s arranger, spoke extremely extremely of her. (N.B. Occasionally, her name is certainly spelled Roudybush.)
