Berry is a critically acclaimed France vocalist/songwriter whose jazz-inflected design of music is rooted deeply in the custom of chanson française. Delivered Élise Pottier, she produced her full-length record debut in 2008 with Mademoiselle on Mercury Information. A cooperation with composer/manufacturer Manou, plus manufacturers Lionel Dudognon and Erwin Autrique, Mademoiselle was critically acclaimed upon its discharge and was eventually nominated to get a 2009 Victoires de la Musique award in the group of Record Révélation de l’Année (i.e., Greatest Record by a fresh Musician). Spawning some singles including “Le Bonheur,” “Demain,” and “Mademoiselle,” the record charted throughout a lot of 2008, peaking at amount 34, and was reissued later in the entire year within a collector’s model with bonus materials.
