Swedish death metallic band Bereaved have already been energetic since 1998, if they were shaped by bassist Mikael Nilsson and guitarists Henrik Tranemyr and Johny Westerback. But, because of repeating musician turnover — especially a never-ending procession of short-tenured vocalists — it wasn’t until five years later on that enthusiasts finally surely got to listen to them, which was via their contribution to some Blind Guardian tribute recording. At that time, Westerback had made a decision to believe lead vocal responsibilities aswell, and, with drummer Tobhias Ljung after that firmly set up, the quartet’s following demo, “Inverted Symbols,” was the main one to property them an archive contract with Dark Lotus Information. Bereaved’s debut recording, Darkened Silhouette adopted in 2004.
