Beoga

Located in County Antrim, North Ireland, Irish folk outfit Beoga (the Irish phrase for “lively”) shaped in 2002 throughout the talents of Seán Óg Graham (accordion/guitar), Damian McKee (accordion), Eamon Murray (bodhrán), and Liam Bradley (piano). Blessed from the folk dance picture, the group’s 2004 debut, A PLEASANT Madness, provided up a spirited assortment of reworked traditional Irish folk tracks and unique compositions that flirted with jazz and R&B. In 2005 the group was became a member of by classically qualified violinist and vocalist Niamh Dunne, who helped to increase the group’s audio within the 2007 follow-up Mischief. 2010’s The Event was shortlisted to get a Best Contemporary Globe Music recording Grammy Honor, and 2011’s well-received How exactly to Tune a Seafood helped to help expand cement Beoga’s status like a top-tier modern Irish folk work. Live at 10: 10th Wedding anniversary Concert arrived the next year.
