Boston indie quartet Bent Designs 1st began releasing music in ’09 2009 beneath the name Girlfriends. Led by vocalist/guitarist Ben Potrykus and drummer Andy Sadoway, their melodic and hyper-literate post-punk echoed traditional East Coast rings just like the Feelies and the present day Lovers. After a small number of little indie produces and accolades for his or her ferocious gigs, they rebranded themselves as Bent Designs in 2012 and released a compilation of their Girlfriends-era materials called Cull Pants. A cope with Dad/Daughter Information brought the discharge of their first genuine LP, 2013’s Feels Strange. The recording garnered a lot of acclaim plus they had been soon posting the stage with functions like Ted Leo, Fucked Up, as well as the Bats. The addition of guitarist Luke Brandfon and bassist Jenny Mudarri preceded their follow-up, as do a change to Slumberland Information. Recorded and made by Elio DeLuca (Titus Andronicus), Bent Designs’ sophomore work, Wolves of Wish, found its way to early 2016.
