Alto saxophonist Benny Reid is really a forward-thinking jazz musician having a bent toward combining expansive post-bop improvisation with atmospheric modern jazz composition. Created in Westfield, NJ, in 1980, Reid was urged to hear jazz from a age group. His jazz aficionado parents released Reid towards the music of such iconic performers as Mls Davis, John Coltrane, among others. Taking on the saxophone in the next grade, Reid performed all through senior high school and eventually examined music at Indiana School, where he graduated in 2002. Reid released his single debut, Results, on Concord in 2007. Reid released his sophomore work Escaping Shadows offering nine primary compositions along with a cover of Pat Metheny’s “Generally and Forever” on Concord in ’09 2009.
