Biography
Another in an extended line of home maestros to emerge from France through the 1990s, Benjamin Gemstone — referred to as Benjamin Cohen in true to life — started his music profession like a punk rocker. One of is own first tasks was the punk music group Poultry Pops. But, influenced by such functions as New Purchase, Michael Jackson, and Roxy Music, he quickly gravitated towards electro-funk and installed using the music group the Party. Though pretty well-known in France, the endeavor was totally overshadowed by his following major task, Stardust, released in cahoots with famous disco home personalities Alan Braxe and Thomas Bangalter (of Daft Punk). Gemstone sang the lyrics on Stardust’s 1998 solitary “Music Seems Better ALONG WITH YOU,” that was a major strike around the world. In 2001, he released his 1st album, Unusual Attitude, which transported his previously singles “Joyride” and “Unusual Attitude.” That same 12 months, he released the EP Solitaire; transporting tracks he documented specifically for the Dior spring-summer style parade.
