Biography
b. 13 Sept 1932, Gothenburg, Sweden. Hallberg was something of a kid prodigy in the piano. He produced his first documenting at age 15 and, in 1950, documented an recording with Arne Domnérus that was released in america. Through the early 50s he’d travel by teach to Stockholm to try out with the very best Swedish music artists and was frequently in demand at Americans from the stature of Lee Konitz, Stan Getz and Quincy Jones. In 1954, Hallberg transferred to Stockholm to help expand his research of traditional music on the Royal Academy of Music. Through the entire 50s and 60s, while building himself as you of Sweden’s leading jazz music artists, Hallberg constructed for string quartets and chamber groupings and discovered himself much popular as a program musician and author of film and radio ratings. Today he maintains this diverse result; his recent are musical director from the Swedish Radio Jazz Group declare Hallberg’s carrying on fascination with structure.
