Bengal Tigers

This short-lived Australian rock band was formed in Melbourne in 1983 by vocalist Gordon Heald and guitarist Barney Fakhouri. Enlisting Steve Tyler (bass) and Mick Egan (drums, vocals), they released a mini-album within the Mushroom Information label the next year. Affected by AC/DC, Iron Maiden and Scorpions, they purveyed clichéd rock that lacked both identification and energy.
