The Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles certainly are a band of Benedictine nuns who sing as part of their daily worship rituals. Founded in 1995 like a Roman Catholic spiritual purchase in Gower, Missouri, the nuns from the Priory of Our Woman of Ephesus — the Benedictines of Mary — sing up to five hours each day and have documented two albums of hymns and chants with 2012’s Arrival at Ephesus and 2013’s Angels and Saints at Ephesus. Both albums possess garnered acclaim, with Angels and Saints at Ephesus striking the main slot within the traditional traditional Billboard graph in 2013.
