Ben Keith


An accomplished maker, solo designer, and pedal steel guitarist, Ben Keith got his start like a Nashville program musician through the past due ’50s. 2 decades later on, he secured an area with Neil Young’s music group, where he added to such landmark albums as Harvest, Tonight’s the night time, Comes a period, and Harvest Moon. Having founded his pedal metal credentials, Keith quickly branched out into the areas from the music business. He created Jewel’s Bits of You, which became among the best-selling debut albums ever sold, and also released a solo profession while operating concurrently with such luminaries as Emmylou Harris, Ringo Starr, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Youthful, and Willie Nelson. He produced his single debut in 1984, playing alongside J.J. Cale and Paul Butterfield to a Crazy Rose, and released the holiday-themed Seven Gates: A Xmas Album a decade later on. The second option record was later on reissued in 2008 beneath the name Xmas in the Ranch. Keith was focusing on a task with Neil Youthful and residing at Young’s ranch in California when he previously a coronary attack and passed away on July 26, 2010 at age 73.
