Bekay is really a local of Brooklyn, therefore the moniker. He was provided a deal with the burgeoning NY City-based indie label Coalmine Information. Under his fresh offer, the rapper offers added more strikes to his list, including collaborations with Saigon and Inspectah Deck on “The Natural.” Soon thereafter he released a monitor, “Where Brooklyn At?,” documented with Ol’ Dirty Bastard ahead of ODB’s loss of life. The B-side, “Youthful,” was rumored to become presented on Bekay’s upcoming full-length, Food cravings Pains, but didn’t make the cut. Bekay was selected for “the Rawkus 50,” an artist-driven marketing campaign the label has situated as the following 50 essential hip-hop artists.
