Beggars Opera


Glasgow, Scotland, progressive rock-band Beggars Opera was formed in the later 60s simply by Marshall Erskine (bass/flute), Ricky Gardener (electric guitar/vocals), Martin Griffiths (vocals/percussion), Alan Recreation area (keyboards) and Raymond Wilson (drums). The group’s grandiose ambition was to fuse traditional and intensifying rock components, an lodging they attained but and then moderate important and commercial curiosity.
