Bed.

Portland’s Bed. make a unique make of ruminative, guitar-based, ’90s design indie rock. Shaped in 2013, Bed. features husband-and-wife duo vocalist/guitarist Sierra Haager and vocalist/bassist Alex Haager, along with drummer Andrew Meininger. Originally from SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, the Haagers stop their respective careers and rings in 2013 and shifted to Portland, Oregon to start out their personal independent label, Separation Records. However, among placing out albums by additional rings, they began focusing on their personal music. Influenced from the poetic ’90s slowcore of rings like Low, aswell as the smooth/noisy punk aesthetic from the Pixies, Bed. created a D.We.Y. design they dubbed “slow-fi.” Once Meininger arrived up to speed, Bed. began creating a group of fans with numerous concert events across the Pacific Northwest. In 2016, they released their debut EP, Klickitat, on Insect Hunt.
