Biography
From Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA, Becky Sharp formed in 1994 and initially released their debut album on the neighborhood independent Chemical City Records. The music group used it mainly as a advertising tool to obtain bookings in additional regions, but it addittionally offered to attract the eye of Mike Jacobs, who authorized the band because the 1st group on his fresh Way Awesome Music label, a subsidiary of MCA Information. Christopher Benton (acoustic guitar), Chris Wynn (bass) and John Kaufman (drums) had been all formerly people of Young lady Scout Heroin. They recruited vocalist/guitarist Gabe Dagle from another regional music group, Thoughts Of Mary. Their fresh name, Becky Clear, was produced from the 1935 Technicolor film version of Vanity Fayre.
