Piano-pounding honky-tonker Becky Hobbs was an Oklahoma indigenous and violinist’s child who began taking part in and creating tunes at age group 9. When she was 14, Hobbs started composing Bob Dylan-influenced protest tunes and singing inside a folk duo with her pal Beth Morrison.
