A favorite computer-animated web series that ultimately found a more substantial target audience via Netflix, Defeat Bugs may be the brainchild of Australian movie director, screenwriter, and maker Josh Wakely. Constructed around Wakely’s lifelong like for the Beatles, the display revolves round the adventures of the wonderful quintet of insects occupying an overgrown yard within an American suburb. Each show uses the music and lyrics of the Fab Four track to frame a tale — Wakely spent 3 years trying to obtain the rights towards the songs, which are performed by several performers, including Sia, Eddie Vedder, the Shins, Wayne Corden, and P!nk. In 2016 Common Republic released a two-disc assortment of music from your series, Beat Insects: Greatest of Time of year 1 & 2.
