Bearfoot

When keyboard participant Dwayne Ford began dealing with guitarists Terry Danko and Jim Atkinson in Toronto in the first ’70s, the trio took the most obvious name of Atkinson, Danko and Ford. If they added drummer Brian Hilton and guitarist Hugh Brockie, the name transformed for the self-titled Atkinson, Danko & Ford with Brockie & Hilton (1972). Finally settling using a lineup in 1974, they added bassist Chris Vickery and renamed the music group Bearfoot. The group acquired two Canadian strikes that calendar year: “Molly” and “Passing Period.” The LP Passing Period premiered by Dwayne Ford & Bearfoot in 1975. Ford started a solo profession in the first ’70s; his 1981 album Needless Freaking highlighted the strikes “Lovin’ and Losin’ You” and “Hurricane.”
