Beangrowers

Hailing through the Mediterranean isle of Malta, pop/rock and roll trio Beangrowers (a name directed at them with a fan on the last second before an early on gig) produced in the mid-’90s. Ian Schranz (drums, synth) and Tag Sansone (bass, synth) fulfilled in cathedral while youngsters, afterwards joined by shared friend Alison Galea (vocals/electric guitar). The teens went through several fourth associates before settling being a trio. Early demos through the band featured noises from outdated sci-fi films and computer sounds. They embarked on a brief tour in Germany in 1997, producing a deal with Tough Trade Germany. In June 1999 they released 48k, implemented in 2001 by Beangrowers. In March 2004 they produced the visit to america, playing the South by Southwest Music Celebration in Tx. Dance Dance Baby made an appearance in 2004.
