The Hollywood, Florida-based trio Seaside Day was formed when Kimmy Drake (guitar/vocals), Natalie Smallish (bass/vocals), and Skyler Dark (drums) met at a show these were using three different bands and made a decision to join forces and begin their own thing. Their punky, surfy undertake the classic young lady group sound started obtaining some positive response plus they agreed upon with Kanine Information in the summertime of 2012. The music group released its debut one, “Beach Time,” in July of 2012, after that implemented it up with another one, “Walking for the Roads,” in November. Mixed by Jim Gemstone (Light Stripes, Dirtbombs), their debut record, Trip Trap Strike, premiered in June of 2013. After touring for the better section of a season, and stripping right down to the duo of Drake and Dark, the band going to Jim Diamond’s Ghetto Recorders studio room in Detroit to create their second record. Native Echoes premiered in August of 2014 and highlighted a washed up, punchier audio.
