This vocal quartet was formed in Brooklyn, NY, USA, in 1957 by Barney Zarzana, Danny Zipfel, Bobby Serrao and George Taylor Jnr. ‘Joannie’, organized by a youthful Neil Sedaka, was their debut Coral Information solitary in March 1958 and it continued to market over 25 % of the million copies. Looks on Dick Clark’s tv program as well as the Dean Martin Telethon, plus trips using the Drifters and Flamingos, helped to help make the Bay Bops possibly the most well-known white doo-wop band of enough time.
