Area of the ever-increasing influx of post-metal rings that arrived in the midpoint from the 21st century’s initial 10 years, Minnesota’s Battlefields (Rusty Steele — vocals, Andrew Wallin — acoustic guitar, Matt Ricigliano — acoustic guitar, Ryan Coffer — bass, and Rob Schmidt — drums) released their initial album, Stained using the Blood of the Empire, in 2006 and drew evaluations to famous brands Neurosis. The critically well-received music group after that released an EP, the one-track Entourage from the Archaic, in 2007.
