Battlecry

This Christian rock-band was formed in California in 1984 by Dave Chumchal (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Doug Morris (vocals/guitar). Using the recruitment of Robert Kirk Giverink (electric guitar), Mariko Martinez (keyboards/vocals), Ronald P. Simmons (bass/vocals) and Bret Kik Tips (drums), their audio was heavily loaded with keyboards and seen as a high-pitched, note-perfect harmonies. Their singular release was an extraordinary assortment of melodic AOR that paid respect to Yes and Trip’s blueprint.
