Batimco

The group Batimco’s name originates from the percussion instruments bata, timbal and conga. David Frazier has all three (plus bongo) for the ambitious yet fairly available sextet, which also contains Jorge Sylvester on alto and soprano, Martin Cuevas on tenor and flute, keyboardist Glenn Pearson, bassist Rob Holland and drummer Bran Kirk. Batimco documented for J&N in 1992.
