Baths

Baths may be the intricate electronic pop task of Los Angeles-area manufacturer Can Wiesenfeld, also of [Post-Foetus] and Geotic. Developing up in California’s San Fernando Valley, Wiesenfeld started making music young, along with his parents enrolling him in music lessons at age group four (at his insistence). He started recording his very own music in his early teenagers, but discovered his true motivation after finding Björk’s music. Wiesenfeld trained himself electric guitar, contrabass, and viola and created a quirky, split production style, blending appears like clicking pens and working water with consumer electronics and live musical instruments. His first task — which he started while still in his teenagers — was [Post-Foetus], but he shortly started crafting ambient compositions beneath the name Geotic, and finally added the Baths moniker towards the flip. Wiesenfeld was also asked with the like-minded manufacturer Daedelus to try out on the L.A. place Low End Theory and became a normal performer on the membership. Baths agreed upon to Anticon Information in ’09 2009, as well as the debut record Cerulean followed this year 2010. Disease and Wiesenfeld’s desire to perform with a complete band up to date his second record, 2013’s Obsidian, a couple of tracks that was darker and even more immediate than his previously music. Documented in Spain with a friend’s home, the next year’s Ocean Loss of life EP continuing that album’s desire for love and loss of life.
