Bass Desires

A topflight band, among the ’80s best groupings. Bass Wishes didn’t simply rework older designs, but forged its path. They do first compositions and expanded material, left area for thick, exacting solos, but also pressured rhythmic vitality and charm. The group acquired four excellent music artists in bassist Marc Johnson, guitarists Costs Frisell and John Scofield, plus drummer Peter Erskine.
