Biography

Composer Basil Poledouris has scored a multitude of main Hollywood features and tv movies from the ’70s,’80s and ’90s. Before breaking in to the film sector Poledouris gained a music and structure degrees from Longer Beach State School and attended both LA film college as well as the AFI college. He often collaborates with filmmaker John Milius, whom he fulfilled while participating in USC. In 1989, Poledouris received an Emmy for the rating of the tv screen mini-series Lonesome Dove.
