Barron Knights

The Barron Knights certainly are a five-piece music comedy group formed in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, Britain, in 1960. People are Duke D’Mond (created Richard Palmer, Feb 25, 1945, Dunstable, Bedfordshire; vocals, acoustic guitar), Peter “P’nut” Langford (created Apr 10, 1943, Durham; vocals, acoustic guitar), Butch Baker (created Leslie John Baker, July 16, 1941, Amersham, Buckinghamshire; vocals, acoustic guitar), “Barron” Anthony Osmond (b. June 15, 1940, Abingdon, Berkshire; vocals, bass), and Dave Ballinger (b. January 17, 1941, Slough, Buckinghamshire; drums). They began as a right music group, after that gained success performing parodies from the Merseybeat sets of the first ’60s rather than looked back, carrying on to create fun of successive musical developments. Their first main strike was “CONTACT the Organizations” (number 3, 1964), plus they produced the U.K. graphs with a complete of 13 singles through 1983, including “Pop! Proceed the Employees” (quantity five, 1965), “Merry Gentle Pops” (quantity nine, 1965), “Reside in Problems” (quantity seven, 1977), and “A Flavor of Aggro” (number 3, 1978). Their just U.S. graph entry arrived in 1979 with “The Topical ointment Music,” a parody of Supertramp’s “The Reasonable Song.”
