Pop deconstructionists SMALLEST AMOUNT were formed within the Bay Region in 1991 by singer/guitarist Brian Speckman and guitarist Tag Pinkos. Upon shifting to Seattle a short while later, these were became a member of by bassist Anthony Champa and drummer Joe Plummer; their eponymously entitled debut LP made an appearance in the Rx Cure in 1995, implemented afterwards that same season by a solo on Sub Pop. Following the 1996 EP Evening We Streak, SMALLEST AMOUNT came back in 1998 with Can’t Get rid of the Nailbiters.
