Bare Jr.

The roots-rock outfit Bare, Jr. was led by vocalist/songwriter Bobby Bare Jr., boy from the ’70s-period country superstar; also composed of guitarist Michael Grimes, electrical dulcimer participant Tracy Hackney, bassist Dean Tomasek and drummer Keith Brogdon, the Nashville-based group debuted in 1998 using the EP Custom made Gauge, accompanied by a stint on that summer’s H.O.R.D.E. celebration. Their main label debut Boo-Tay implemented afterwards that same season; Brainwasher was released in fall 2000.
