Pierre Guerin (vocals, classical guitar, accordion), Toby Cinnsealac (tin flute, recorders, clarinet) and fiddlers Chris MacRaghallaigh and Elliot Selick shaped Barde in Montreal in 1975. They initial documented their Celtic rock and roll on the 1977 self-titled record. Pictures (1979) and Voyage (1983) implemented, but by enough time the last mentioned LP was documented, just Guerin and Cinnsealac continued to be. They were joined up with by violinist Jacques Joubert, bassist Jocelyn Therrien and key pad participant Richard Paquette.
