Barbarossa

The solo project of London-based multi-instrumentalist Wayne Mathematicsé, Barbarossa makes minimalist folk, R&B and electronic-influenced pop. He 1st appeared beneath the Barbarossa name in 2005 liberating the mini recording Sea Like Bloodstream within the Fence Collective Picket Fences series. He in addition has spent time dealing with Swedish vocalist/songwriter Jose Gonzalez, playing in both his support music group and Gonzalez’ additional task Junip. These collaborations coupled with his personal varied musical encounters inspired the romantic, extra compositions on his second recording, Bloodlines, that was released by Memphis Sectors in 2013. His follow-up Imager showed up two years later on in early 2015 and presented a guest overall performance from Gonzalez.
