Biography
Long Isle native Barbara Fasano has earned acclaim during her career on her behalf cabaret styled displays. Having developed in NY, Fasano went to Hofstra School, graduating using a level in theater. She spent quite a few years vacationing and living overseas, including 3 years in Australia where she acted, trained theater, and co-produced the ARIAs music sector award show. Time for the State governments, Fasano relocated to LA and begun to sing cabaret, developing her very own show within the genre, in addition to landing function in both film and tv. In 2000, she released GIRLS Of Summer months, an album predicated on her effective cabaret present of exactly the same name. Offering her interpretations of music by a different slate of authors that included Stephen Sondheim, Bruce Springsteen, Irving Berlin, and Cyndi Lauper, GIRLS Of Summer months was well-received with a number of the most powerful praise from the Village Voice.
