Led by Stephen Perkins (Jane’s Addiction, Porno for Pyros) and David Turin, Banyan can be an alternative-rock supergroup that also features bassist Mike Watt, Nels Cline as well as the Freeway Keyboardist. Banyan released their eponymous debut, that was recorded from the Dust Brothers (John Ruler from the Dusts combined the recording) and made by Perkins and Turin, in Apr 1997.
