The trio of Bangalore — Sven Larson (bass), Mike Ahrens (drums), and Phil Kaplan (guitar) — plays varied instrumental rock that, although it includes a funk base, also includes components of African and Indian music. Each one of the three also takes on various percussion tools on the 2004 recording Wanderlust, with Benny Benson adding drums and percussion to three songs.
