Charity supergroup Music group Help was formed in London, Britain in 1984 by Boomtown Rats frontman Bob Geldof and manufacturer Midge Ure. Designed to finance anti-poverty initiatives in Ethiopia, the ensemble documented the one “Perform They Understand It’s Xmas?” for discharge through the 1984 holidays.
