The legacy lately Cajun fiddler Dewey Balfa continues with the music of his daughters, Nelda and Christine, and their band, Balfa Toujours. Performing in the original acoustic design of Cajun music, the group combines the bayou audio with excitement and front side porch intimacy. Even though Balfa sisters performed guitar as children and frequently jammed making use of their dad and uncles, they didn’t imagine a musical profession until their father’s loss of life in 1992.
