Baked

Playing an amped-up variety of indie rock and roll that noises by transforms speedy and buzzy, Cooked is a group led by R.J. Gordon, also called the bassist with Titus Andronicus. Located in Brooklyn, NY, Gordon launched Cooked in 2012 with the web release of the slow, droney demonstration track entitled “8er.” In July 2013, Baked gave “8er” a physical discharge as the B-side of the cassette one, with a far more concise brand-new track, “Moist Blanket,” headlining. By August 2014, Gordon and his cohorts in Baked had been running a functionality space in Brooklyn, and acquired released their first full-length record. Debts, released by Exploding in Sound Information, discovered Gordon (on business lead vocals and electric guitar) joined up with by guitarist Davey Jones, bassist Jeremy Aquilino, keyboardist and vocalist Isabella Mingione, and drummer Yoni David. Baked toured to get the album, writing stages with Shed Boy ? and Bueno, and playing a small number of dates where Gordon did dual duty, starting the display with Baked and headlining with Titus Andronicus. In Feb 2017, Baked came back with a fresh album, Farnham. Entitled honoring a university friend of Gordon’s who dropped his struggle with malignancy, Farnham also launched a fresh lineup of Cooked, with Gordon and Aquilino became a member of by fresh users Steve Hartlett (acoustic guitar), Isabella Mingione (keyboards and vocals), and A.J. Pantaleo (drums).
